Sophie Robert, the author of the French documentary “The Wall or Psychoanalysis put to the test for Autism” on the misuse of psychoanalysis in Autism in France will be showing a shorter 30 minutes version of her work at the 2012 International Autism Conference, organized by ABAI, the ABA International organization.
Note that last year’s attendees came from 17 countries and 46 US States.
The film is sued by psychoanalysts in France and the court decision is expected on January 26th 2012.
An article has been published in the New York Times on Jan. 19 and in the paper edition of the International Herald Tribune on the Jan, 20.
Sophie Robert will also be interviewed that day by a journalist for ABC News
Sophie Robert will come to Philadelphia with David Heurtevent, co-founder of “Support the Wall: Autism” and Magali Pignard, member of “Collectif Soutenons Le Mur”.

I have been working against these psycho-analytic views for 25 years, supporting my colleagues in establishishing a proper scientific basis for and understanding of autism. It is horrifying to discover these views and this domination of a delicate educational situation still exerting itself after all these years. above all, the smugness of many of the speakers was horrifying. They had no humility in face of the enormity of the problems.
In addition, my felicitations to Sophie Robert for maintaining her composure under these circumstances.
