On Thursday February 9, at Matignon, French Prime Minister François Fillon brought together the associations forming the collective “Autism Together” to attribute the title of National Cause of 2012.
He gave a speech in the presence of Roselyne Bachelot, Minister of Solidarities and Social Cohesion.

“Other than a national campaign on public broadcasting channels, made possible by the National Cause label, the minister of Health will make available to the National Cause all means of communication necessary to prepare a document on autism which will be accessible to the general public.” said the Prime Minister. This new plan should continue our efforts to catch up in the creation of new structures for people with autism” and “one of the main priorities will be to intensify research into autism” underlined the Prime Minister. The other main axes of this mobilization will be the education of children with autism and defending the rights of people with autism, “in line with the President and government’s undertakings concerning disability.” “Our fight for autism belongs in public policy” said François Fillon, in conclusion. ”
